To me, it only seems like just yesterday that the Becca highlighters exploded and everyone was trying to get their hands on them. Since then, I’ve gotten my hands on a couple of them and I think it’s safe to say that they’re almost incomparable to anything else I own in my collection.
Currently, I’ve been obsessing over the new Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in the shade ‘Vanilla Quartz.’ I’ve been using it every single time I go out without even thinking of reaching for anything else. The shade is described as ‘light gold infused with pink pearl.’
The packaging of the Becca highlighter comes in their signature dark brown circular compact but this one along with their Rose Quartz and Prismatic Amethyst highlighter comes in the same circular compact but instead of dark brown, the colour of the case matches the shade of the highlighter.
As seen in my Prismatic Amethyst highlighter review (you can read it here), the case of the highlighter is in a metallic lavender casing. Likewise, the case of this highlighter is in a metallic rose gold packaging with the Rose Quartz highlighter in a metallic pink packaging.
The highlighters retail for $46 CAD/$38 USD at Sephora and at Beautylish. Unfortunately, the ‘Vanilla Quartz’ and ‘Rose Quartz’ shades aren’t available at Beautylish, however there is the new ‘Parisian Lights’ available.
Something I love about the highlighters are how finely milled they are. They’re so easy to work with but also very easy to go overboard. With these highlighters, a little goes a long way and you really get your bang for your buck with how much you’ll have to use before you even make a dent let alone hit pan on the product.
Have you picked up any Becca highlighters? What are your thoughts on them?
