If you remember way back when Sephora used to carry Lorac Cosmetics, then you’re not alone. I remember when all their products began going on sale and the brand disappeared from the retailer. It had taken me a while to get my hands on the Lorac Pro 1 palette and even then, my love for their palettes didn’t stop there.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Lorac Mega Pro Palette 3 before it sold out (you can read my review here) and was able to pick up the Lorac Pro 3 palette at IMATS in 2017.
The Lorac Pro 3 palette retails for $56.48 CAD/$44 USD at ULTA Beauty and on the LORAC website. Currently Lorac Cosmetics are sold at ULTA Beauty, select Kohl’s stores, Nordstrom, Naimies, Amazon.com and selected web retailers in the States. (Full list here)
The palette itself is in the same cardboard packaging that all the Lorac palettes have with a magnetic closure. It’s thin enough to slide into small areas and also includes a mirror making it really portable and good for travelling. The only thing the palette is missing is a brush, but those are pretty easy to carry around and don’t take up too much space.
Just like the other Lorac palettes, this palette consists of all matte shades on the top row and shimmer/glitter shades on the bottom row. The Lorac Pro 3 palette consists of softer pinks and neutral shades compared to the Lorac Pro 1 that consisted of more brown and warm tones and the Lorac Pro 2 that had more cool tones.
The shadows have a super-velvety feel to them and are super easy to work with. They blend like a dream and can be used to apply wet or dry. The pigmentation is as good as my beloved Lorac Pro 1 and my Mega Pro 3 palette, I can definitely see myself reaching for this all year long. The shade range most centres around neutral pink shades, but with a few darker shades, it won’t be difficult to play up the eyes and smoke them out for more intensity.
Have you picked up any LORAC eyeshadow palettes? What are your thoughts?
